1. Introduction
GoSucceed CRM operates a strict zero-tolerance policy toward spam. We actively monitor email activity sent from our platform to ensure compliance with this policy and with all applicable UK law including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
Any user found to be sending unsolicited emails — whether intentional or accidental — may have their email-sending privileges suspended or permanently revoked. Serious or repeated violations may result in account termination.
GoSucceed CRM is operated by Salters & Monroe Ltd (company number 13476747) and runs on the White Label CRM platform under the domain GoSucceedCRM.com.
2. What is Spam?
Spam is any form of unsolicited or unwanted bulk communication. This includes but is not limited to:
– Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) — sending marketing or promotional emails to recipients who have not explicitly agreed to receive them
– Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE) — sending any type of message to multiple recipients without prior consent
– Emails marked as spam — even with permission, high complaint rates harm both your sender reputation and that of all GoSucceed CRM users
3. Permission is Essential
You must have clear, informed consent before sending marketing or bulk emails through GoSucceed CRM. Permission means:
– Active and informed opt-in — the recipient clearly understands what they are signing up for and takes a deliberate action to subscribe (e.g. ticking a blank checkbox or submitting a form)
– No implied consent — pre-ticked boxes, automatic enrolment, or assumptions of consent are not permitted under PECR or UK GDPR
– Easy opt-out — every marketing email must include a working and clearly visible unsubscribe link
For business-to-business (B2B) communications, soft opt-in rules may apply under PECR. If you are unsure whether you have a lawful basis for a specific communication, consult the ICO’s direct marketing guidance at ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing before sending.
4. Email Best Practices
To protect your deliverability and maintain compliance we strongly recommend:
– Authenticate your sending domain using SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
– Keep your lists clean — regularly remove unsubscribed, bounced, or inactive contacts
– Segment your audience and send targeted, relevant communications
– Avoid spam trigger words, excessive use of capitals or exclamation marks, or misleading subject lines
– Monitor your bounce rates, complaint rates, and open rates through your account dashboard
– Never purchase or rent email lists — only contact people who have a legitimate relationship with your business
5. GoSucceed CRM Compliance Features
GoSucceed CRM includes built-in tools to help you stay compliant:
– Opt-in management — the system requires all marketing contacts to be confirmed as opted-in before receiving bulk communications
– Unsubscribe links — every marketing email generated through the platform includes an unsubscribe link by default
– Landing page forms — forms built in GoSucceed CRM automatically capture consent at the point of data collection
– Opt-in invitations — you can send opt-in confirmation requests to validate existing permissions
– Delivery monitoring — email reputation and deliverability metrics are available within your account dashboard
6. Sub-processors for Email Delivery
GoSucceed CRM uses the following sub-processors to deliver email communications from the platform:
———————- ——————————————————————-
SendGrid USA — Email delivery infrastructure. UK-US Data Bridge certified.
Mailgun USA — Email delivery infrastructure. UK-US Data Bridge certified.
Both providers operate under strict anti-spam and acceptable use policies of their own. Violations of this policy may result in GoSucceed being required to suspend your email sending privileges to protect the platform’s sender reputation with these providers.
7. Consequences of Violating This Policy
Violations of this policy may result in:
– Temporary suspension of your email-sending capabilities
– Permanent account termination if violations persist or are serious
– Legal or regulatory action — breaches of PECR or UK GDPR can result in fines or enforcement action from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
GoSucceed reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice if email activity poses a risk to the platform’s integrity, deliverability, or other users’ accounts.
